NT Wright seems "surprised by silliness," so you have to wonder if he'd seen The Colbert Report before agreeing to the appearance.

How in the world did Bishop Wright get booked on this show? And Colbert comes up with some surprisingly good questions--I think he really read the book. Very interesting.
Hats off to a brilliant man who is willing to go anywhere to preach the gospel.
